Thanks for the compliments, everyone. It was a fun competition, but we did not move on to the next round. I appreciate that both tasaro and obie took the time to actually try out the application before rating it – the other two judges (geechee_girl and browntown) did not.
We’ll be working on this after the rumble, stay tuned.
Awesome app, guys! This is a great idea, and it’s leveraging lots of plugins/gems very smartly. I can actually imagine using this. It’s like posterous for Twitter.
I’ve never quite taken to Tumblr and Posterous, but since I’ve got Tweetie open all day, this app makes it a no brainer to create a tumblelog that my non-Twitter friends can check out. Great concept and really nice execution. I saw the point almost immediately and give it a 5 for usefulness.
@obie – We were looking for a way to make tools like Tumblr and Posterous more accessible to Twitter users. Often, I share media via Twitter and thought it would be useful to just collect this in a single place that I can share with others by pointing them to this “tumblelog” of sorts.
I just created a quick screencast that helps better explain what you can do with the app – if you want to take another look, we would appreciate it.

Beautiful app, I just didn’t quite see the point of it.
Thanks for trying out our app! I take full responsibility for the missing E, one more reason you should never commit in the last 20 minutes.
You can also delete your whole blog, once logged in via the aforementioned link. Thanks tasaro, we hope you enjoyed it, and will continue to enjoy it.
Thanks for the compliments – you can, in fact, delete an entry. All that’s required to create a blog is to tweet to @ppend – you can manage it by using the ‘log in via twitter’ link in the upper right of the page.
yea, bummer about the ‘e’ – we saw that after launch when it was too late…
Very clever and innovative. I can see this app attracting many users. Easy to use, simple to point people at. Unless I missed it, the ability to delete an entry would be useful.
I see the humor at the end of the scrolling history – but you forgot the ‘e’ in @ppend
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use this app. Enjoy!
